Lingo Nordic is a translation company established back in 2005 and rebranded in 2010. Our head office is located in Tallinn,Estonia, a key location at the crossroads of the Nordic cultures, where bilingualism and culture diversity are a widespread phenomenon as well as English is an official language.

Over the past years have have taken full advantage of all the emerging translation technologies to provide clients the highest quality services possible. Lingo Nordic quickly expanded to meet a growing demand for complex and volume translations involving a high level of technical expertise in sectors such as Telecommunications,engineering, science, construction, user manuals IT, Automotive, Pharmacy, Medicine, Legal. We do subtitling Project besides technical projects with our ‘Subtitling team’.

Lingo Nordic is a global language services company specializing from English/German/Spanish/Italian to/from Norwegian,Danish,Finnish,Swedish,Estonian, Lithuanian and Latvian translation.

We are made up of a group of professional translators who have been working in the translation market for more than 10 years, and we currently collaborate with a team of over 200 translation professionals across the globe. The best linguists

Lingo Nordic translators, editors and proofreaders are native speakers of the target language and are selected according to these points:

• An advanced university degree
• Several years of experience in the translation industry
• Thorough technical or specific knowledge
• Excellent computer skills, including CAT tools such as Trados, SDLX, Wordfast, Across, Memoq, Memsource etc.
• Ability to work on strict deadlines

In order to meet the specific requirements of each industry, our staff is divided into specialized international teams each exclusively dedicated to one major industry. Each team consists of language specialists with an extensive knowledge of the related field to ensure the use of the proper terminology and to address the specific, inherent needs to each industry.

Lingo Nordic brings a team of dedicated, reliable, and highly qualified translators, editors and proofreaders. All of the more than 200 professionals on the translation team have a degree in translation or linguistics, and at least 3 years of experience working as a full-time translator. We use a blended model of employed full- time translators and freelance translators, which allows us to respond quickly to large translation requests.

OUR OFFER

We employ a 3-step translation + editing + proofreading (TEP) process: all projects are translated and reviewed by three different professional linguists – going one step forward than only providing translation and revision.
